Today, we are very excited to present to you Episode 1 of UnCorked, a SnapMunk original web-series.
In this series, our Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Mann digs into the backgrounds, minds and professional initiatives of some of the world’s most interesting startup founders. Alongside the conversation, both Ben and the founders also dig into a bottle of wine. Once the bottle is finished, so is the interview. The only requirement is that both the wine and the interview be entirely uncorked.
This is not supposed to be like any other tech interview series.
We want the audience to understand who these people are, what their story is, and what the arch of a successful entrepreneur’s life looks like. We want to connect on not just the professional level, but the personal level, because it is on the personal level that we truly become inspired.
Our goal is for startup junkies to be motivated, investors to be intrigued, and everyone to be educated, engaged and entertained.
Our first episode is featuring Von Raees, President & Founder of Beacon Media, and more recently, the “crave-to-stomach” solution, Kraver. We cover everything from his super-hero mom and his multiple high school jobs, all the way to going bankrupt at 23 and his miraculous recovery in media that allowed him to financially feed his entrepreneurial hunger with Kraver.
