With Instagram now being open for ads, highly visual brands can’t afford to ignore the platform any longer.
Instagram has 400 million users and counting as of October with 90% of them being under 35. This is the most innovative part of your Millennial audience concentrated into a single platform. That’s a massive opportunity for social brands.
So you’re on Instagram? Great! Now it’s time to put together an editorial calendar.
And that step right there is exactly what holds most brands back from being effective with Instagram. Planning a visual editorial calendar is a total pain. There’s no good way to do it without using multiple apps and programs which turns it into a major time suck for your average social media pro. Right now, that means planning often gets pushed to the side, leaving money on the table.
Started by a jewelry designer who tired of wasting time planning Instagram campaigns, Planogr.am helps brands by letting them visually plan out and manage their content for Instagram.
Upload photos into the library, then arrange them into a mini-campaign. After you’ve planned your mini campaign, schedule the date and time you’ll post on Instagram. You can’t automatically post to Instagram because of their terms of service, but you can get most of the way there. Right now, it can only manage photos, but video is apparently on its way.
Bonus for brands – they don’t put on a watermark on your images like a lot of photo management software does.
This kind of technology could quickly turn into the standard for the ever-expanding roster of social marketers out there. Planogr.am has a 15 day trial available right now, so if you’re looking for a little more slack, you might want to give it a shot.

I don’t know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else encountering issues with your site.
It appears as though some of the text on your content are running off the screen. Can somebody else please provide feedback and let
me know if this is happening to them as well?
This might be a problem with my internet browser because I’ve had this happen before.
Hey there, You’ve done an excellent job. I will definitely digg it and personally suggest to my friends.
I’m confident they’ll be benefited from this website.

If you post to instagram a lot, I can see how a service like this would be nice. Then you are not constantly going to the app to make sure that you did a post. it seems like a nice service that is smooth and easy to use.

Instagram is hard enough to manage and actually get something out of it. So many people follow me for one or two days and then disappear to never be seen again. I hate that and wish there was a way that would stop.

I downloaded this app and even though it does help you to plan out an Instagram campaign, it does not really do much more than that. As you stated above, it just plans, but stops there and does not actually do any of the posting. For some reason, Instagram does not allow for automatic posting, but that might be for a good reason.

This is awesome! I have been looking for a solution to do exactly this, but so many third party apps are just not worth the download. They always do PART of the job. I need them to do more, like this one. Thanks for posting about it

I agree. We all know that Instagram is not going to allow access for auto posting (the whole idea is that we are THERE looking at and liking the photos), but it does make apps like this look that much worse at the same time.

As someone that has a nice big following on Instagram, I would be able to use this very effectively. I can setup a weeks worth of posts ahead of time and then just post them in order. I might have to try out the 15-day trial.

Hmm, this is something that I did not see coming. However, there are more and more Instagram stars born every single day. In order to stand out from the rest, those stars are going to have to understand how to run a good campaign and I can see where this would be helpful.
