Even the best entrepreneurs need a little inspiration once in a while. That being said, there are dozens of business blogs on the Internet that provide everything from thought leadership to online marketing tips. Here are the eight blogs you need to bookmark and follow immediately (in addition to SnapMunk, obviously).
Neil Patel’s QuickSprout
The Wall Street Journal has deemed Patel one of the biggest influencers on the Web, but that isn’t the only reason you should check out his blog. The co-founder of Crazy Egg and Hello Bar posts every few days to provide a consistent stream of online marketing insight. Any entrepreneur who is looking for better ways to raise brand awareness, utilize social media, or distribute content can find answers on the QuickSprout blog.
Sixteen Ventures
Sixteen Ventures is the blog of Lincoln Murphy, who has helped more than 300 SaaS companies accelerate their growth. He’s also a contributor to publications including VentureBeat, Inc Magazine, and Fast Company. On Sixteen Ventures, you can read blog posts on everything from customer churn to SaaS startups.
Seth Godin
Seth Godin is the author of 18 bestselling books and the founder of Squidoo, so he knows a thing or two about success in the world of entrepreneurship. His blog, which is updated almost daily, provides quick posts on topics including how to use video, marketing effectively, and resonating with your audience. He also puts his own spin and perspective on these topics, making his posts relatable and share-worthy.
Predictable Revenue
This blog is written by Aaron Ross, the author of “Predictable Revenue” and the man behind Salesforce’s enormous growth. It’s a good site to turn to if you’re looking for answers to entrepreneurship or business questions, like “How do I win my prospects’ trust?” or “Is my company ready to grow?”
Tomasz Tunguz
This venture capitalist at Redpoint dedicates his blog to all things startups and fundraising. Any entrepreneur who wants to get inside of the minds of those responsible for financing startups will want to bookmark this blog. Some of the topics covered include upselling, startup pricing strategies, and venture capitalist investment tactics.
The Mogul Mom
The Mogul Mom has become a go-to website for female entrepreneurs who are not only interested in startups, but how to run them while maintaining a work-life balance. Melissa Bolton, Catherine Haugland and Karen Lee all run the blog. They put a fun spin on topics ranging from productivity tools to networking for your startup.
Startup Nation
Startup Nation was founded in 2002, and today, it has more than 3 million regular visitors. It’s home to articles from entrepreneurs around the globe, and it has become one of the best go-to resources for all things related to startups. Blog posts, which go up throughout the day on the site, are easily digestible – think list-type pieces and quick guides. Topics include digital marketing, startup tech, and small business growth.
Kissmetrics
The Kissmetrics blog has pieces designed to guide you every step of the way when it comes to marketing your startup. This site has become known for its in-depth pieces on everything from content marketing to PPC. However, it isn’t all about marketing – the Kissmetrics blog also tackles critical business topics, such as customer retention, buyer journey mapping, and brand messaging.

Great list but don’t forget Entrepreneur.com! It’s really a fantastic resource, especially as time goes on and you read/digest more of their content.
Great list of reputable blogs where you can get some knowledge from business leaders around the world, as well as some inspiration at the same time.
All of these are a lot of fun to read and that just goes to show you how to separate the content online from the GOOD content online. You can learn, even while having fun.
KissMetrics is always filled with a ton of information that makes me look at the business world a little differently.
Thank you for the heads up on these blogs. I have read Quick Sprout and follow Seth Godin plenty, but the others I have not heard of.
