    It has been yet another impressive week for entrepreneurs raising financial funding to back their endeavors. From mobile app startups and fashion startups to open source software ventures and human resource startups, multiple companies made funding announcements this past week. Check out just a few of the movers and shakers making our roundup of startups on the rise this week:

    RockYou raises $10 million

    RockYou offers monetization opportunities for mobile game developers and advertisers.

    Jampp raises $7 million Series A

    Jampp helps app developers acquire new users as well as re-engage existing app users.

    Peoplevox raises $6 million

    Peoplevox offers warehouse management software for e-commerce/m-commerce retailers.

    High Fidelity raises $11 million

    High Fidelity offers software (open source) for shared virtual reality spaces.

    NastyGal raises $16 million Series C

    NastyGal offers clothing, accessories, and shoes for the millennial generation.

    LoveCrafts raises $7.5 million

    LoveCrafts offers a social e-commerce network for knitting and crocheting enthusiasts.

    Kobalt raises $60 million Series C

    Kobalt offers a music rights and publishing management platform for artists.

    VanHawks raises $1.6 million

    VanHawks is working on a smart technology bike that includes sensor alerts (for when objects get too close), vibrating handlebars, and ride monitoring via an accompanying mobile app.

    Namely raises $11 million Series B

    Namely provides human resources tools for high-growth companies. Features include time-tracking, payroll, benefit plan tracking, and talent management.

    Visual.ly raises $3.3 million Series A2

    Originally known as a marketplace for infographics, Visual.ly is further expanding to continue to provide on-demand creative talent to brands.

    Honeybook raises $22 million Series B

    Honeybook offers an invite-only network collaboration platform for event planners and creative professionals.

    Swiftype raises $13 million Series B

    Swiftype offers a hosted search as a service platform for websites. Features include website search, mobile search, and search analytics.

    REscour raises $1.3 million

    REscour provides data intelligence/visualization tools to commercial real estate professionals.

    Nexus eWater raises $2.1 million Series A

    Nexus eWater provides technology that helps homeowners recycle their home’s grey water and wastewater heat.

    Trucker Path raises $1.5 million Series A

    Trucker Path offers a mobile app for professional truckers. Features include load sourcing for carriers, navigation tools, and crowdsourced data on truck stops, truck parking, and weigh scales.

    First Insight raises $14 million Series B

    First Insight provides a platform that helps brands incorporate customer insights into the design, launch, and merchandising of their products.

    Salesfusion raises $5 million

    Salesfusion offers marketing automation tools to help drive sales.

    Geofeedia raises $3 million Series A2

    Geofeedia provides a location-based social media monitoring platform.

    Aura Biosciences raises $21 million Series B

    Aura Biosciences is a rare cancers biotechnology company.

    The above-listed companies are just a sampling of intriguing endeavors raising funding. From cloud-based software as a service ventures to connected transportation startups, entrepreneurs are raising backing for their pursuits in a multitude of verticals.
