In the last decade hardly could you find a mobile phone company that invested in Social Networking however as of today, you find out that practically all the mobile phone companies dedicate a bulk of their time to developing new applications on Social Networking. The reason is quite simple, it is in line with the trend. It is the number one rule of growing your business. Never be out of tune with the current trend.

    MARKET TARGETING/SEGMENTATION:

Market Targeting/Segmentation simply means focusing on a particular set of people who you have predetermined to be your best bet consumers. When a product is being advertised, from the point of view of the advertiser, it is as if such product is for the whole World. But in reality, there is no such product for the entire world. So targeting a set of people whom your business is most relevant to with your marketing efforts will guarantee that you get the highest returns on your investment and keep your business growing.

    LEVERAGE ON PARTNERSHIPS:

A good Businessman would never attempt to build is business in isolation. DISCREETLY INVESTIGATE YOUR COMPETITORS:

A good Businessman would discreetly investigate his Competitors. The essence of this is to ascertain the methods or techniques that they are using to get ahead. When you see a competitor that his edging out and standing right there in front of you , then you need to get out of your comfort zone and seek to learn the techniques such a Competitor is using.

    CREATIVITY:

One major key to growing a successful business is creativity. People like creativity and people would always pay to get such products or services that show a lot of creativity. Whatever your business is, make creativity, your benchmark.

    KEEP RECORDS METICULOUSLY:

Whatever your business is, always keep detailed record.
